Marius Williams, Editor-in-chief

Marius Williams is a third year student of the dual Masters in City and Regional Planning and JD program (‘23), concentrating in urban design and international development. With NEXUS and beyond Marius hopes to promote diverse voices, creative approaches to communication, new ideas, and increased access to both legal and planning education and scholarship. Previously he worked as an administrative assistant for the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and as a software developer for a management consulting firm. Marius received a BA in Computer Science from Boston University (‘13).

Ngawang Tshomo, Associate Editor for the Review Board

Ngawang Tshomo is a first-year MCRP candidate from Bhutan, concentrating in Urban informatics and environmental planning. Prior to commencing her graduate studies with Bloustein, Ngawang was working as an urban planner with the Ministry of Works and Human Settlement, Bhutan. Her area of interest is evidence-based decision-making, people participation-based policy-making, informatics, and planning for environmentally sensitive areas. She did her undergraduate studies from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.

Surya Jacob, Associate Editor for the Editorial Board

Surya Jacob is a second-year Master of City and Regional Planning candidate at the Edward J Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She is concentrating in Community Development, focused on Housing, Land and Finance, as well as Urban Redevelopment. Prior to Bloustein, she worked as an architect and interior designer in India and Canada for 7 years and is pivoting towards a career in urban planning to engage in more extensive projects with her experience of working at the microlevel on single family homes and multifamily residential projects. Her interests include affordable & mixed income housing, urban redevelopment, land use, housing finance. Surya holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture from R.V. School of Architecture, Bangalore, India. 

Andrea (Zixuan) He, Creative Director

Master in City and Regional Planning student with research and planning experience in housing affordability, transportation, urban design, informal settlement study. Experience working in multicultural settings and creating visual and graphical communication with Architectural design and art degree.
